Uno, the barking beagle, took Best in Show at the 132nd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. This premier event for dog breeders is held yearly in New York City and even draws big audiences on TV.

Uno, a nearly 3-year-old, 15-inch-tall beagle, was also the first of that breed to win the hound group since 1939. Tuesday's Best in Show finale wrapped two days of competition involving more than 2,600 dogs, from 48 states, the District of Columbia and at least six countries. There were 169 breeds vying to be top dog this year, including four new breeds you probably won't find at your corner pet store: the Plott, a hound; the Tibetan mastiff, which showed in the working group; the Swedish vallhund and the Beauceron, both of which competed in the herding group.
