The Sad Tally - Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco serves as an icon of Americana as well as a tool of death. Since the bridge opened in 1937, there have been 1,218 deaths contributed to suicide. This graph of the bridge shows the area in relation to the light poles as to where and which side people jump off the bridge. (source)
